BlueSentinel is a Data Loss Prevention tool designed to significantly reduce the risk of data exfiltration from endpoint devices. However, no security software can guarantee 100% protection against all data loss or breach scenarios. BlueSentinel should be used as part of a comprehensive, defense-in-depth security strategy.

2. No Guarantee of Absolute Security

While BlueSentinel employs multiple layers of protection (10 guards, anti-tamper, disk encryption management), we do not guarantee that all data exfiltration attempts will be detected or prevented. Determined adversaries with physical access, zero-day exploits, or advanced persistent threats may circumvent endpoint-level controls.

3. Customer Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring BlueSentinel is deployed and used in compliance with all applicable laws, including employment law, privacy regulations, and data protection legislation
  • Providing appropriate notice to and obtaining necessary consent from monitored individuals as required by law
  • For self-hosted deployments: securing server infrastructure, database credentials, and admin accounts. For SaaS: maintaining strong admin passwords and access controls
  • Implementing appropriate backup, disaster recovery, and incident response procedures
  • Evaluating whether BlueSentinel meets their specific regulatory and compliance requirements

4. Compliance Disclaimer

References to compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, DPDP Act) on our website indicate that BlueSentinel's architecture incorporates technical controls aligned with these frameworks. These references do not constitute formal certification or attestation unless explicitly stated. Customers requiring formal compliance certification should contact us for verification of current certifications.
